The Quobba Fins 'Shifter’ series have a standard raked fin type template. The template is the same as the existing Quobba medium/Q fin.

Quobba fins incorporate a revolutionary new patented fin design situated on the base of each Quobba fin, so as to enable the typical turbulent ‘unordered’ water flow found around the base of all standard fins, to become more ‘ordered’.

By shaping and ‘ordering’ the water flowing around the fin base, the Quobba fin system markedly reduces trailing turbulence drag, thereby increasing hold and speed in comparison to standard fin designs.

In addition to the revolutionary new patented fin design the 'Shifter' fin allows the surfer to shift the fin 'backwards/forwards' over 25mm and 4 x positions, whilst in the water, no tools required! 

What are the benefits of moving the rear fin? 

When moving the fin forwards, towards the nose, you will loosen up your surfboard. Less hold. 

When moving the fin backwards, closer to the tail, you will increase the hold.
